DS Quilts for the Stone House Inn, Rhode Island

Denyse and crew recently delivered fifteen specially-designed quilts and shams to the Stone House inn, on the ocean in Little Compton, Rhode Island.

Denyse’s designs are informed by the architects’ elegant, modern renovation of this historic seaside estate. Each of the fifteen unique quilts resonates with the texture and feeling of summers past by use of seersucker and shirting-stripe cottons, while reflecting the modern sensibility with striking architectural designs and fabrics with subtle, silvery threads.

Goosewing Hotels & Resorts, the owners of the Stone House, utilized green technology in their renovation of the property, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. In addition to gracing the beds at Stone House, Denyse’s quilts will be offered as part of the Stone House 1854 Collection.
